THE SHOW

Sultry Sweet Burlesque was created in August of 2012 by Producer/ Director Cherish Bliss and Producer/ Musical Director Rob Steiner. With extensive backgrounds in music and theatre they were offered the opportunity of creating a burlesque show after having been seen performing some wildly original arrangements at a very progressive children’s theater group. They began to attend every burlesque related show in the area almost every night of the week (Including Las Vegas and San Diego) to begin to understand what burlesque is and to try their best to do justice to the art form.

With the element of the live orchestra added to the showcase, each arrangement is meticulously crafted to the individual performer’s choreography to insure that no bump or grind is left behind.

Sultry Sweet Burlesque would like to thank the incredible array of performers in the Los Angeles/Hollywood burlesque community and other parts of the world for bringing all your hard work and talent to our show. Finally we owe our deepest gratitude to Scott and El Cid for giving us the opportunity to take this journey.

About Sultry Sweet Burlesque
Erica Meadows - Director

Cherish Bliss

Director/Producer

Originally from California, Cherish moved to Laredo, Tx where by the age of 16 she was an award winning principal violinist with the Laredo Philharmonic Orchestra. After years of immersion in ballet, Flamenco, music and theatre, she returned to Southern California where she currently offers private violin instruction. Erica believes that burlesque offers every woman the empowerment to stand up and tell the world that they are beautiful no matter what society or anyone else may think, and no one can take that away from them.
